Watching the midnight sun kiss the horizon while standing at the North Cape cliff is a once-in-a-lifetime experience. At Destinasjon 71 Grader Nord, we offer you the chance to join us for a thrilling ATV-ride across the island and experience the Arctic scenery in a more adventurous way.

Right at the far northern tip of Norway, in the land where the sun doesn’t set for more than 2 months in summer, is the iconic North Cape. As one of the most epic places to spot northern lights in winter or the midnight sun in summer, this famous landmark attracts several thousands of visitors each year.

Once you’ve had enough time to relax and visit the facilities, it is time to get back on the ATVs and once again cross the mountain plateau on our way back to Honningsvåg.

Remember to bring your driver’s license! All drivers need to be minimum 18 years of age and in possession of a valid driver’s license (minimum class B).
Entrance to the North Cape Hall is included, with full access to movie theatre and exhibitions.
Passenger must be minimum 6 years of age. 2 persons on each ATV. Clothing and safety equipment such as helmets and warm suits are included in the price.

After meeting at our adventure centre, we will provide you with a protective outfit including a suit, helmet and gloves. Your guide will explain you in detail how to operate our exciting vehicles before leaving town and heading onto the Arctic mountain plateau. Making several photo stops along the way, we will cross the island to its northernmost point, the North Cape.

After the classic pictures by the iconic North Cape globe, your guide can give you a tour of the facilities and tell you all about the history of this historical landmark, or you can take the time to explore on your own. The visitor centre boasts a panoramic cinema, a coffee shop, plenty of information about the history of North Cape and a gift shop.
