SUP tour to Lille Altshula

SUP or Stand-Up Paddleboarding is rapidly growing in popularity and even though most people would link this new sport to warm and tropical regions, the North Norwegian coastline offers plenty of unparalleled and undiscovered natural pearls.

Join us for an active, though relaxing paddle trip starting from our scenic fjord location in Sarnes and marvel at the beauty of Arctic Norway. 

Upon arrival in Sarnes you will be provided with all the necessary equipment to stay warm on - and possibly in - the water. A proper drysuit give you the chance to wear your own clothes underneath without getting them wet. 

A short lesson will be enough to get you on the board and prepare you for our mini-expedition. Whether you want to sit down on your knees for a while or you feel comfortable to stand up right from the start, is entirely up to you.
We will slowly make our way to the small island of Lille Altshula, a popular nesting spot for seagulls and occasionally visited by otters and seals. 
After a short break with a small snack, we will follow the coastline back to our start location.

SUP rentals

Have you tried stand-up paddle boarding  before? Or you would rather go and explore on your own without taking a guided tour?
In that case, our SUP rentals are an excellent alternative for you.

Our boards:

BIC 10'6 Performer Air
The ideal all-terrain board for riders looking for a manageable board for excursions or to surf small waves. Its versatility makes it suitable for both beginners or advanced paddlers. 

BIC 11'0 Wing Air
The ideal board for longer cruises, designed to slide easily in the sea and very stable for beginners. 

Prices:
2-hr rental: NOK 250,- per package 

half day (max. 4hrs): NOK 350,- per package 

Full day (max. 8hrs)​: NOK 600,- per package

Each package includes: inflatable board, pump, fin, paddle, ankle strap, PFD and instructions. 
Longer rentals possible upon request.

Drysuit: NOK 200,- per suit
